Game Details: Practice / Game Combo 30 minutes of practice – 30 minutes of game on Saturdays. 

Little Kickers is a great introduction to soccer.  The program is designed to enhance your child’s overall growth and well-being by focusing on building important skills, such as balance and coordination. Little Kickers Soccer is designed to be fun! Kids should be encouraged to play and develop a love and understanding of soccer.  Practices will be hosted on Saturdays for 30 minutes followed by a 30-minute game.  Shin guards are not required, but highly encouraged.

The 3&4 year old division is an introduction to the basics of soccer. The goal of this league is for children to learn how to work together on a team, improve motor skills and problem solving. Coaches will focus on; teaching kids how to kick a ball and get it to go in the direction they want, working together as a team, and having fun. There are no referees or score keeping for this age group. Our goal is to teach kids to love physical activities and give them an opportunity to play in an organized sport while having fun.

The K-2 division is an introduction to the basics of soccer. Previous experience is not required to participate. Coaches will be introducing the basic rules of soccer, the use of goalies and the concept of fouls and positions. This division is designed to give children a basic understanding of soccer that they can continue to use as they get older and move on to other divisions. Score keeping and referees will not be introduced in this age group. 

Please come prepared to each practice and game with proper attire. Fields do not have any seating at this time so chairs or blankets are recommended for spectators.

All players must provide their own shin guards and footwear.  Although shin guards are not required – they are encouraged.  Cleats are not required; however, only molded soccer cleats or athletic shoes are allowed! No open toed shoes or crocs allowed.

All teams will be coached by a parent volunteer; if interested, please contact parks@wigginsco.com and indicate so on your recreation account by filling out the application and background tabs in the left-hand menu.  We emphasize good sportsmanship and teamwork.

NVAA Youth Soccer Grades 3-6 - $65.00 (Co-Ed)

Divisions:         Grades 3 & 4

                          Grades 5 & 6

Practice Locations: Teets Field Wiggins, Colorado

Practice Times: As determined by the coach

Game Locations: Games will be held within an hour of Wiggins, Colorado.

Game Details: Games will be Saturdays starting the end of March. Details will be provided once practice begins.

Teams practice in Wiggins once per week and play games once per week. All players must provide their own shin guards and footwear.  Molded soccer cleats required! All teams will be coached by a parent volunteer; if interested, please contact parks@wigginsco.com and/or indicate so on your recreation account by filling out the application and background tabs in the left-hand menu.  We emphasize good sportsmanship and teamwork.
